RHODE ISLAND – Owen O’Connor received a unique gift from a friend in Florida last week – an airplant. These unique plants that aren’t found in RI basically aren’t rooted to the ground. They get blown around and basically live off the branch of a tree or wherever they happen to land. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts in Rhode Island, although it will be kept inside Owen’s home in Providence.
